More than 30 new decorative patterns have been added to 3M’s range of glass finish films to help interior designers create contemporary glass features that are practical too.
Glass brings transparency, light and brightness to work and leisure environments, but when working to a budget it can be hard to find cost-effective solutions to creative ideas that are based on decorative glass finishes such as etched, sandblasted or textured.
3M has worked with interior designers and contractors over many years to develop the range of high quality films that mimic the aesthetics of natural and synthetic materials at a fraction of the cost.
They also reduce glare and block out 99 per cent of UV light as well as providing a frosted appearance for privacy when needed.
3M Fasara Glass Finishes are made from durable, flexible and removable polyester materials and are quick and easy to install on a variety of glass substrates. They can be applied on-site with little or no disruption and are easy to clean.
“We have worked closely with the international design community to create new and exciting, on-trend patterns,” said Boris Hartig, Portfolio and Channel manager, 3M Window Films and Architectural Markets.
“We have launched 33 new designs and expanded four of our most popular finishes to a width of 60 inches. This gives us a total range of more than 100 glass finishes, each inspired by our customers.”
The new pattern categories include Fabric, in a sophisticated palette of metallic and pearl hues, relaxing Natural and String as well as bold Geometric and Gradation for designs that need a good level of light, but complete privacy.
New colours have also been added to the existing white, black, mirror and silver palette. These include champagne gold, pearl white, a more brilliant silver and a transparent grey smoke.
3M Fasara Glass Finishes are ideal for screening conference rooms, reception areas, waiting rooms and glass partitions, bringing privacy and contemporary styling to any space.
